Kolo Laha – Abdulrahman Muhammad & Khalid Barzanji

Tell her that I am still in love with her
However long the distance may be I will not forget her memory (x2)

She’s the one that taught me how to love her
She’s the one that irrigated me with the fragrance of her nektar
A spirit from God, turned to us mankind
He covered her with goodness and embellished her and sweetened her

Tell her that I am still in love with her
However long the distance  may be, I will not forget her memory (x2)

(Mind that part of the songs meaning gets lost in this translation. Abdul Rahman’s own translation gives a  much better impression to the strength of this old arabic poem, however mine is an attempt of a more direct translation.)
